Work

I'm an associate director of technology at the digital agency FINE. My work spans industries including healthcare, finance, wine, hospitality, and technology. Key clients include Canyon Ranch, Lime, IVP, and Silverado Resort. I lead our front-end team, working closely with designers, engineers, strategists, and clients to create digital experiences and platforms. I also develop and maintain core systems that every FINE project is built on.

I'm also building Cleo, a framework for SSR applications built on Fastify and TSX. It ships no JavaScript by default and simplifies creating server rendered applications while utilizing modern web frameworks and tools.

More recently, I've built Ordinal, a Figma plugin for non-destructive node-based raster image editing of Figma layers. It allows designers to manipulate layers in Figma directly with image filters and channel mixing.

Education

I studied Philosophy, Photomedia, and Mathematics at the University of Washington with professors including Colin Marshall, Flint Jamison, and Benjamin Feintzeig. In addition to operating the university's photo lab, I assisted with work in the 2017 Whitney Biennial and developed photogrammetry scans for the Columbian Mammoth in the Burke Museum.
